Last night we were kindly invited to one of the hottest fashion shows in Ireland, Dublin Town Fashion launch was held in the glamourous Mansion House, Dawson Street. It had some of the most fashion forward Models, Celebrities and Irish Designers within the crowd. We where happily entertained by the lovely Cassie Stokes from Xpose & Clyde Carrol, Marketing & Communications Director from Dublin Town.
The tone was set in the exciting Mansion House and we were kindly treated to refreshments from Bloom Gin we looked in awe as we seen the top ten stunning creations from the finalists for Young Designer Of The Year showcasing the best of young Designers Ireland has to offer. Judged by a panel of the Fashion elite that have graced our televisions and contributed to our fashion choices, as the judges deliberated, we where kindly refreshed on how last year’s winner Naomi Aje has come so far with her own studio in Dublin City.
Drum Roll please the winner of the Young Designer Of The Year is Michelle McAuley (Edinburgh College Of Art) an extremely talented Designer who created a unique and one of a kind cream on red dress, with a mix of sculptural and draped woven cuts modelled by Irma Mali 1st Options Models, congratulations to Michelle McCauley and we wish her so much success in her career.
After finding out our Young Designer Of The Year, the very creative Jules Fallon, Creative Director, Dublin Fashion Festival 2018 introduced us to key trends for Autumn Winter all sourced from Dublin Stores and showed us not all styles need to be worn seriously.
