In the stands, during rehearsals for the 2017 World Fusion of Wearable Art presented by Fashion Speaks International out of Kamloops, British Columbia
The cause behind the fashion show was to raise funds and awareness for the missing and murdered Indigenous women of Canada. The Kamloopa Pow Wow Grounds provide a stimulating background for photographs and a spiritually soothing location for the emotionally charged cultural celebration
Our missing women will always be remembered and we will forever be searching
In between sets during World Fusion of Wearable Art Michael, wearing Buluuy Mirii out of Tamworth, Australia and Tanya, wearing WolfPack Designs, steal away to share their runway outfits backstage
A post show greeting by a new love is enough to inspire a smile from a heavy heart. Even while paying homage to those we’ve lost we must cherish the loved ones we have.
