Kate Plum


She is a Womenswear Designer born in Poland. She graduated from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Poznan and worked across many disciplines in the Polish Fashion industry: pattern drafting, manufacturing, sales & distribution, before moving to Ireland. In 2010 Kate set up her own Tailoring & Alteration business in Carrigaline, in Ireland. In 2014 she developed her own fashion brand under her own name which is now based in Cork on Princess Street.

Kate Plum stocks a fabulous selection of glamour and comfortable dresses for active business women. Her Ready To Wear collection Spring/Summer 2016 called “The Ladies” is very modern, elegant and sleek. Kate believes that her designs should bring out a confidence and power in any woman who wears them. The Ladies collection greatly highlights a modern sophistication, elegance and high quality tailoring & design.

The designer allows materials to speak for themselves, creating a clarity of form and distinct design. “The Ladies” collection consists of unique gowns which are complimented with a jacket to crate multi looks. Each dress is designed specifically for lady’s individual personality inter alia we have Charming Lady, Sensual Lady, Elegant Lady and Classy Lady. Kate’s collection was originally in grey tones but a few months later she also added a colour versions of all dresses. Kate loves interacting with a women body silhouette and give her a unique attractive glam look.

The Ready to Wear collection is for a woman who appreciates timeless elegance and high quality tailoring. Kate takes inspiration from modern architecture and the individual collaboration between Kate and her every day client – amazing woman who wants to look great and feel confident in any situation. Her work is based on the principle that well cut designs never go out of style.
