CLARICE O’HAGAN

 

Clarice o'haganHow old are you and where are you from?

I am 23 years old from Bray Co Wicklow. The stunning garden of Ireland.

 

How did you start modelling?

I contacted a photographer  the amazingly talented Fran Byrne to help me build portfolio, the photos turned out amazing and I sent them to several big agencies in Ireland. I got an email back from Andrea Roche for a casting day and  I started modelling in 2013 when I signed with Andrea Roche Model Agency. Dream come true!

 

What has been your favorite job so far?

My favorite job so far was when I represented my county in Miss Wicklow final. Very proud moment.

 

What is your dream modelling job?

My dream modelling job would be to feature in Vogue or walk the Victoria’s secret runway! The opportunities are endless. Working in America is my dream!

 

What’s one of the most interesting shoots that you’ve done?

I recently did a photoshoot for an Irish blog called Forever Fabulous. Rachel O’Riordan the owner and make up artist did my make up and Clarice o'haganRoger Kenny did the photography. The shots turned out stunning. The day was brilliant working with talented, creative artist talent. Inspiring day.

 

Clarice o'haganWhat do you believe is the key to success for a model? What qualities does one need to succeed?

I believe hard work and dedication is the key to success within the model industry. I think to succeed in any industry you need passion, dedication and good work ethic in order to succeed.

 

What do you find the most challenging part about working in the fashion industry? Trying to find projects that represent your image and career in the best possible way.

 

How do you stay in shape?

I try to stay in shape by eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, and going to the gym four times a week. However I still indulge life is for living!

 

Clarice o'haganDo you have a go to label?

I love River Island and Zara. Their clothing looks so designer but with an affordable price tag.

 

Style icon?

I have so many! I love Jennifer Lopez. She is a timeless beauty. I love how her style has evolved and how she incorporates sexy and elegant in her style.

 

Best advice you’ve ever received?

Be yourself, follow your heart, ignore the nay sayers, and work hard. Nothing worth having comes easy but it’ll be worth it in the end x

 

What are your working on right now and what are your future aspirations?

I have some projects lined up in the new year with photographers , make up artists and models. I hope to do more TV/magazine/press work and try a variety of things within the fashion industry.
