Nor Lisa Spring Summer independent show

Spring has finally sprung in dreary old Northern Ireland, But the beautiful new collection from Nor Lisa could easily transport you instantly to a nice sunny beach. The collection was inspired by the designers summer trip to France last year, The sunsets, Marinas, sun kissed sand, coral beds, Limitless beachy waves and all things Aqua.  From viewing the collection you can almost imagine  the view from each pieces inspiration.

As always designer Lisa McCabe  managed to create a collection that was a mix of unique wearable art and also more casual styles you can wear almost everywhere. The collection also included a beautiful kimono and sun dresses perfect for a relaxed day out at the beach taking you through .to evening cocktails

The collection does have the designers trademark Grecian styles though this was never a plan it just came naturally when creating the garments.

The fabrics of this season were all sourced and printed in an eco friendly way from places like France, London, Italy and Dubai as well as supporting local Northern Irish stores giving the  collection a unique style and ensuring the best quality an design.

Lisa also started creating her own jewellery this season as seen in photos, They were all handmade and made to perfectly compliment each of her looks. These are also available to buy.

Some of my favorite pieces in the collection Included

Blue Jersey split dress, Modeled by Charlotte Sullivan. This dress is perfect for a casual day out but can be upstyled for a night out also so very versatile

Tie dye print silk chiffon dress, Modeled by Sarah Mawhinney, This beautiful dress would look amazing in almost any setting.

Embroidered Teal plunge dress, Modeled by Sarah Mawhinney. This dress just screams red carpet glamour.

Jersey Orange print two piece, Modeled by Kaitlin Maughin. A beautiful casual look for an afternoon al fresco lunch.

Floral wrap dress, modeled by Aleks Szczerbak. Again the perfect outfit to take you from day to night with ease

The Chelsea Wine bar made a beautiful backdrop for the show, Its always one of my favorite venues and it really did fit well with the bright sunny styles on the catwalk.  The hair an makeup was expertly applied by Nor Lisas regular team of Simply health and beauty, The stylist for the show was the very talented Donna McCabe of the “Printed Skull Ink” blog, and we’d love to thank Debbie Deboo photography for the amazing images
